Our journey started after waiting 3.5 hours at Rajkot station for the train. So finally we departed the "delhi sarai rohilla express" by 10:00 pm rather than 7:30 pm. Confirmed Ticket was from Ahemdabad to Delhi but we directly get into the reservation coach. Ahmedabad came nearby 2:00 am. Till that all were busy in horror stories.
After eating various types of "Theplas" we (rather I) slept. In the morning I suddenly awoke and saw the Abu Road station. I sat near window with always 'awake' Rakesh. Whole day was passed with Aravali Range in Rajathan along with playing cards.( 'Mafia Game' )
Finally we reached to dark junction { Delhi Sarai Rohilla } and went to Gujarati Samaj by Van.
Ref: Mihir and Bhadresa used bargaining skills.
We threw the lugguge in Dormitory at Gujarati Samaj and then went to Chandani Chawk by Metro. Team leader Mihir used his experience for reaching to Chandani Chawk and find the famous Parathas Restaurant to fulfill the hungriness.
Next day we need to catch the famous Sikkim Mahananda Express . After reaching back to Samaj we all set our mobile alarms to early morning. Some enthusiastic people like Rakesh, Parth got up early and kicked others.
Next day somehow we caugh Mahananda Express. Our reservation coach was worse than general coach because of the poor crowd. Somehow we managed to sit on the small part of our booked seat. In the noon heat waves started as it was June and the state was UP. But we survived only by Mafia Playing Card Game. Night was also dreadful in train as it was very warm and this time state was Bihar but we were happy as we had playing cards with us.
Next whole day train ran through Bihar and we ran through Mafia. In the evening nearby 4-5 pm, we reached to New Jalpaiguri where the two Tata Sumo (with driver) were waiting for us. The long lasted waiting since train was much late for both drivers (as well as for us) ended.
We departed from New Jalpaiguri to Darjeeling. It was getting dark
From Siliguri to Darjeeling (Distance: 70 kms) took 3.5 hours.
